Constitution is the Principal (main & highest) Authority, which declares Sovereignty to be a Principle (essential quality) of Individual Personal Choice.
Personal Freedom of Choice constitutes the principal principle (main essential quality) of Sovereignty.
In a sovereign nation of people, the people are the principal (main) authority, who determine the principal (highest) standards of standard principles (qualities) of behaviour for all the people of that nation. The people determine the Constitution of the People, for the people and on behalf of the people. This constitutes a National Agreement with principal authority over the people’s choice of principles.
When the Right of Freedom of Choice is denied to any or all individual people, it is denied by the individual people who abdicate their right to their own freedom of choice; based on their belief that only a privileged few should have the right of free & individual choice.
Unless Individual choice is sovereign to all Individuals, there is no sovereign right of choice for Individuals. An Individual’s choice for their choice alone to be sovereign denies the facility of Individual Choice.
Principal Choice is the fundamental constitutional element of every rule, law, ethic, moral, principle & standard.
A Constitution fundamentally forms the principle of Principal Choice for the People who constitute a specific Nation. The People are the principal constituents of their nation, not its elected leadership. The principal (main) constitution upholds the principle (essential essence) of personal sovereign choice.
When an Individual disagrees with the constitution of popular agreement, they are cast out of that society on the principle of the principal reality of that society being agreement and harmony for all. All members of a Democratic Society agree that a healthy constitution for each Individual necessitates a Healthy Constitution, with which all people are in agreement. All agree that the removal of the freedom of choice from the people is constitutionally unhealthy.
A Healthy Constitution is maintained by all who are in agreement with the sovereign choice of the Individual.
The essential quality of a Constitution declares personal choice to be the highest authority. This ensures that no external authority can override the integrity of personal choice. The purpose of a Constitution is to ensure that the personal choice of an Individual can never overrule the personal choice of the People, as a Collective of its Constituents. It is the People who collectively declare their agreement to the collective will of the people to govern & maintain the collective will of the people. This defines a Nation as being a Democracy.
The role of a democratically elected Government is to ensure that the collective will of the people is maintained and the will of the government remains in alignment with the will of the people who elected them to manage the affairs of the people, for the people.
