A thought is  a communication with our Inner Self.

Thoughts come from within. Sounds come from without.

We translate internal thoughts and external sounds through the use of words and the media of language.

External sounds have no meaning until we define them with words.

When we cannot define a sound with words, the sound is lost to our comprehension as we have no way of knowing what the sound is or what caused it.

Internal thoughts and feelings are also meaningless until we learn to define them with words.

We store experiences of external sounds and words as ‘memories’.

Our sub-conscious mind stores all of our memories.

How good a memory we have is determined by our ability to re-call experiences from our memory store into our conscious mind.

Our challenge is to discern whether our inner thoughts are just sub-conscious memories or messages from our Soul.
