Motivation is the power that we need when we are disconnected from our Divine Source of Power.
When we follow the authority of another, as the child of a parent or the employee of an employer, we will need their motivational power to achieve their objectives.
When we follow our ego’s choice or authority, we will require our ego’s motivation to achieve it.
The motivation of our ego is the will power to get our emotional needs met.
Our emotional needs are our lack of power.
The ego knows sub-consciously that getting our emotional needs met will give us the power that we need to motivate us to achieve our aims and objectives.
The irony is that the objectives of the ego are to get our emotional needs met, so that we have the power that we need (motivation) to meet the objectives of the ego.
When we follow the authority (choices) of our Soul, we are empowered and no motivation is necessary.
